EN ESTUDIANTES DE LA UANL

RESUMEN
El ser humano necesita de los recursos naturales, sin embargo, el mal uso de éstos ha
provocado diversos problemas ambientales afectando la calidad de vida de la especie
humana: el cambio climático global, la deforestación, la pérdida de la biodiversidad y de
los mantos acuíferos, entre otros. A partir del compromiso educativo nacional, orientado
al cambio de actitudes y comportamientos y de las perspectivas locales a favor del
ambiente, se proponen alternativas de solución desde el ámbito universitario; por ello, es
de suma importancia conocer la percepción que tienen las nuevas generaciones respecto
a los temas y problemáticas ambientales que ocurren en nuestro planeta.
De acuerdo a lo anterior, se propone una investigación que tiene como objetivo determinar
las percepciones que posee la comunidad estudiantil del nivel medio superior y superior
en la Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León respecto al cuidado ambiental, a partir del
análisis de las perspectivas y los conocimientos sobre el tema de cultura ambiental,
además de identificar si existe relación con lo aprendido en la unidad de aprendizaje
“ambiente y sustentabilidad”.
ABSTRACT
The human being needs the natural resources; however, the incorrect use of those
resources has led some environmental problems affecting the life quality of the human
species: global climate change, deforestation, loss of biodiversity, and groundwater
reserves, among others. From the national commitment to education, aimed at changing
attitudes and behavior and local perspectives in favor of the environment, alternative
solutions are proposed from the University field; therefore, it is important to know the
perception that new generations have regarding environmental issues that occur on our
planet.
According to the above, there is an investigation that aims to determine the perceptions
that student community has of Middle High Education and Higher Education at Universidad
Autónoma de Nuevo León in relation to environmental care, based on an analysis of
perspectives and knowledge on the topic about environmental culture; in addition to identify
what they learned in the learning unit “environment and sustainability”.
