Older and wiser as they say. Gary told us that he now handles the pressure of the SSDT a lot better, he's been riding at his best and beyond his level attributing much of his success to experience and the support provided by Duncan Wood and the Scorpa team.

"Duncan from East Neuk has been great. The support they provided let me focus more on my riding and took a lot of the pressure off.

Anything you can to reduce the pressure of the SSDT will benefit your riding.

I'm really happy with my 4th podium and 4th yellow plate at the SSDT.

2019 I'll be back again really fired up!"

"After the 2017 SSDT I took 7 months off from riding and hadn't been on a bike until January this year.

I was talked into it by friends and sponsors and it is without doubt the best decision I've ever made. It's really reignited my interest in bikes and I'll be a regular at events again now,

On Day One if someone would have told me I could finish on 18 for 3rd place I would have said 'Yes, I'll take it now.'

I feel like I rode really well all week and was maintaining 3rd - 4th place every day despite a few small mistakes.

My riding has changed and I put that down to experience, and maybe getting older."

Gary's week almost got off to a false start when his bike wouldn't start on Day One but with less than 10 seconds remaining it fired up and he got off the line.

On a brand new bike Gary said you can sometime expect a few small issues and this one was a spark plug - replaced later - but he was very complementary of the Scorpa.

#101 on the Factory Scorpa 300 Gary rode a brillaint Six-Days to take his 4th podium in 16 years AT the SSDT

"The Scorpa was a great and very reliable ride overall. I had a small issue at the start on Day One but I'm really happy with the bike and the support from Duncan Wood and his team."
