Have you any desire to race on the world stage again, or does BSB and your roads outings satisfy you at this stage of your career?

'I will always have aspirations to ride at the highest level but my age is now against me. Like most sports there is a small window of time that you can make a career out of it and I am very grateful I've been able to find a home in BSB'.

You are incredibly unique in racing circles as you have had a very successful career abroad at world level, but you also seem like you have a real love for the challenge of the Isle of Man circuit, what is it about the place, and what is an abiding memory of Monas Isle?

'I didn't ever expect to ride the TT growing up, in fact I didn’t know much about it at all. But moving to BSB and seeing the likes of McGuinness, Rutter, Plater etc go during the season I felt I was missing out. After my first visit I was hooked. I don't know if there is anything in the world that would compare with the feeling a rider experiences racing a lap of the TT'.
