~Why did you elect to be part of the Grandmother Legacies?
In many cultures around the world, hereditary wisdom is passed between grandmothers and granddaughters, I wanted to honor and show respect for that tradition. There is much truth and guidance available to us from our elders, if we choose to listen. We can only gain when we celebrate the best in our feminine lineage and heritage.
~Please share what you help your clients with....what sort of work or expertise do you bring to the world?
My signature talent is to be a guide through transformative change and transitions for organizations, entrepreneurs and individuals. I have found that we can tend to resist stretching into new expressions of oneself, or our business. And yet, if we really come home, to stand in our truth, from there we can create, inspire, shine, and if we feel called to, teach and lead others.
~Why is this work important to you?
In the beginning for me the book was simply a wonderful opportunity to come together to celebrate our love for our grandmothers. Then I felt a deeper realization, I was not just a storyteller but a story carrier and I heard my nana and the elders calling me.
This awakened a new sense of accountability for my role in the continuing story, for as Mother Teresa said “we draw our circle of family too small”. It is a powerful experience to really take in and honor our feminine legacy of compassion, strength, courage, vision, peace making, family and community.
