came up to heal. As a result of my deep emotional healing work, the tension I carried in my belly (which wreaked havoc on my digestion for over 20 years: IBS-D) was released. ~What is one thing you hope your readers will be inspired by in your chapter?

I want readers who have experienced childhood trauma to know they’re not alone. Suffering in silence is like living in prison. Even though I had a successful career in publishing — the shame, confusion, and anger I held inside kept me in “solitary confinement.” Breaking out of that prison

allowed me to truly find myself. Then, I was able to connect with the wounded parts inside me that were starved for understanding and love. I share in my chapter that my Grandma Rose offered me unconditional love, which inspires me to teach my clients how to “take themselves into their own arms.”

~What tip or piece of advice can you share with our reader today to empower them to create their own legacy?

Don’t let your past hold you hostage. If you experienced a painful childhood that is negatively impacting your current life, seek professional support and empowering tools. Find your voice and learn to be assertive so that you can speak your truth with courage, clarity, and compassion. By stepping into empowered behavior — you will set yourself free! Then, as a role model, you will impact those around you and create an important legacy. As a result, isolation will be transformed into connectedness…from the inside out! you that this is the perfect thing to do and begin to lead stress free lives.
