would encourage a first time author to start with participating in an anthology. This is
book where multiple authors come together under one book and one theme. This is a
great starting place for a first time author…as they get to start with one chapter and have
the collaborative support of other authors in creating the book and sharing it out. This
way, you don’t have to come up with all the chapters and worry about all of the
publishing and formatting side of things…you get to focus on one piece. And, you get to
join the other authors in sharing it out and growing your reach.
Also, know that every author’s voice is unique….no one else can share your message
your way. So, a key to taping into making your book unique, is bringing in more of you,
your perspective and way of seeing the world. If you feel a pull in your heart to bring
your message, wisdom and/or perspective forward then I believe your message is being
called forth. I encourage you to lean in and take a step today to share your message
powerfully in the written word. ☺
