When Do You Shine Your Brightest?

Think of a time when you felt your best…when you were the most happy, relaxed and comfortable in your own skin. What was that like? How did people around you respond to you? How did life respond to you? How did you feel inside?

What would it be like if you felt like this all the time? 24/7? Life would be pretty amazing, right?

Well, you can! It’s actually your birthright to shine your authentic, best and most radiant expression of who you truly are ALL THE TIME!

Impossible you say? Not really. All that you need to do is BE who you truly are in each and every moment. It’s really that simple.

But…it’s not easy.

We carry around with us loads and loads of unconscious “baggage” that is blocking us from shining our authentic self. That baggage is extra weight we took on somewhere in our childhood to stay safe and be loved. The problem is we have grown up, but that baggage is still with us, keeping us safe and loved…we think. The truth is, it is exactly what keeps us from experiencing the most profound love and joy in our lives.

Jungian depth psychologist, James Hollis, PhD, says, “The problem with the unconscious is that it’s unconscious.” Yep, we don’t realize all that unconscious programming—read baggage—that is playing out, controlling our thoughts, emotions and even beliefs about ourselves and life. It shapes our reality without us even realizing that’s happening. If we were conscious of it, it wouldn’t be “unconscious,” and then we could make a different choice rather than responding like we did when we were small.

So, what to do? How do we bring into consciousness our unconscious programming—or conditioning—that is keeping us from radiating our authentic self?

It’s simple, again, but not easy. Human Design, the self-awareness system for our time, reveals the truth of who we are as well as our unconscious programming and conditioning. It brings the unconscious into our consciousness so that we can become aware of our baggage—the emotional wounds and limiting mental frameworks that are keeping us from shining our brightest, 24/7. That’s the simple part.

Learning and understanding your Human Design, what I call the GPS for living your soul’s purpose, is the first step. Once you are aware of who you are and the unconscious challenges you are carrying, you can then start the process of unravelling and letting go of the conditioning that is keeping you from your best life. That’s worth gold!

Having all of that revealed and laid out before you simplifies the path and can speed up your journey to shining your brilliance all day, every day. It gives you a road map to your most beautiful self—the you that longs to shine every day!

If you are ready to feel your best in every moment, not just in those rare moments when everything comes together, then start by getting your Human Design Chart. It is a “scary spot on” map (that’s what all my clients say) of who you are designed to be—your soul’s highest expression. There are several places on the Web where you can get your free Human Design Chart. All you need is to enter your birth date, time and location, and you can get your chart. If you would prefer, I can do that for you. Send an email to [email protected] with “Send me my chart!” in the subject, and I’ll send you your chart—FREE—and include your energy type and decision authority—the two most important keys to starting to understand your soul’s perfect design.

Don’t wait! Don’t let that unconscious baggage you’ve been carrying around for far too long keep you from shining the light that is YOU one moment longer. Let your Human Design Chart show you the truth of the radiance that is you so you can shine your brightest in every moment. It’s your time. Your soul is calling!

follow-through. Their vision caused them

to order their life in such a way that little

investments were made all along the way.

Some call this personal mastery or

personal effectiveness. Peter Senge says it

this way: “Personal mastery is the

discipline of continually clarifying and

deepening our personal vision, of focusing

our energies, of developing patience, and

of seeing reality objectively.” These legacy-

leavers stick at it. They overcome

obstacles. They are disciplined in the small

stuff. They do the next thing. Harriet

Tubman's 13 rescue missions were made

up of a lot of micro decisions along the

way. She was faithful to be uncomfortable

for a night or go the next leg or return for

one more family. The cumulative result

was a legacy... neither she nor the people

she rescued knew she would be

remembered as a hero of history. She was

compelled by a vision and carried it out

faithfully - despite the personal costs.

Your legacy might include some bigger

than life exploits or it might just mean a

lot of years of becoming - of faithfully

loving others, giving your time and money,

going out of your comfort zone, etc.

Basically, looking at my priorities and

doing the next thing that is right in front

of me.

The trick is that you never really know

when your small act of faithfulness will

produce something huge. So, don't grow

weary of doing good, keep in your vision

in front of you and do the next thing.
