~Will you share a client success story?
A truck driver of 30 years, started his own trucking company. He knows everything about trucking. Unfortunately he had no business experience. Anybody can “buy low and sell high” and everybody knows what the word “profit” means. But not everybody understands the science of business. The former trucker and now owner came to me and I helped him with funding, framework for his management infrastructure, defining his sales process, and handling customer request so he could deliver his services to more than one customer. The owner reduced his costs and increased his capture, and was on his way to building his business the right way. He now has 15 employees, 32 drivers and well over 10 accounts that he services efficiently.
~What tip or piece of advice can you share with our reader today to empower them to SHINE?
The speed of business has increased with technology. The little guy can now compete with the big guys in business. Be disruptive in your market, and you will be feared by competitors.
~Any final thought, share, or idea that you would like to share with our readers today?
If you are a start up business, while you are interviewing or identifying business attorneys, Accountants, and IT support; find a business coach or consultant if you aren’t already in business with a seasoned business professional in your respective industry. Their knowledge will save you more money than you can count.
