~Share something you are passionate about:

Living my purpose and being a good role model. “You never know who may be positively impacted by what you say or do.” During my 25-year career with FL Dept of Corrections, I was often told by inmates during their intake psychological assessment, ‘You’re the first person I’ve met that hasn’t cursed me out.’ Perpetuating darkness only creates more darkness especially from a population that has likely came from broken homes, identified by disparaging words that became their lived self-fulfilling prophecies.

Caring has always trumped knowledge and skills. Often, it’s not what you know or how well you execute what you know, but simply caring usually produce therapeutic results.

~What are some ways you are helping to bring this forward in the world?

By practicing integrity, treating all, no matter what stage of life, with respect and dignity. Wisdom the awareness of what is right and wrong, and integrity is simply doing what’s right. To stay grounded and keep my ego in check, I feed the homeless and volunteer in my church’s prison ministry.

~Describe something our readers today can look forward to discovering in your book.

That HIV transmission is still a problem and just like or because of the current opioid epidemic in the US can spiral out of control unless issues are address today.
