Dr Millie Lee is an integrative cardiologist and author in New York City who is passionate about preventing heart disease and empowering people to take ownership of their heart health through healthy lifestyle choices. I am passionate about health and wellness. I believe that heart disease and most chronic diseases of our time are preventable and many possibly reversible with good lifestyle choices. I am also passionate about education and believe that if armed with the right information, people would make better lifestyle choices.

~What are some ways you are helping to bring this forward in the world?

That is why I wrote the book, “Your Heart Health is in Your Hands”.

In the book, I discuss the root causes of heart disease and more importantly some lifestyle recommendations to prevent and reverse disease. I have also given talks in the community trying to spread the message.

1. Meditate. Stress is a major contributor to heart disease. Meditation can significantly reduce stress and its harmful effects on our bodies.

2. Eat more real foods and less processed foods.

3. Move your body every day, several times a day.
