Forage consists of leeches, midges, scuds, callibaetis and damselfly
nymphs. Get your fly within a couple feet of one of these fat bastards
and it's go time. You'll spend the next ten minutes palming your reel
and playing tug o' war...and you'll be exhausted by sundown. A 'good
day' here means the fish couldn't be counted on two hands. Imagine a
lake full of tens of thousands of carp - all mirrors - averaging ten
pounds. A typical day will include at least one fish approaching twenty,
but you're not officially on the board until you've gone over thirty.
Sounds like a great place to spend a summer, right?
