On Sunday 12 February , IBIOL students stepped onto the streets of Notting Hill Gate for the first of a series of street evangelism events . One guy received a healing in his leg as two students prayed – for two years , he had been plagued by pain . Another young man gave his life to Jesus . Homeless people received hot food and a listening ear . By the end of the hour , the students had a new passion for souls birthed in their hearts . Since then , each week they have gone out to proclaim the gospel , often alongside the KT evangelism team , and seen people get saved , healed , and prayed for .
Taking this a step further , IBIOL went on mission from the 22-29 May to Romania , to build on the partnership we have with Betleem church in Megidia , and pastor Vasilică Croitor . They were proclaiming the gospel , ministering to prostitutes , the homebound and sick , as well as children . There is plenty of physical work , building church buildings and community centres . On Sundays , they were to be given the opportunity to preach . Look out for testimonies in future Revival Times !
Jesus promised that he would be with us , when go about his business ( Matthew 28:20 ). Through the gift of his Holy Spirit , he empowers us to go and win the world !

IBIOL is a unique further education Bible college . Firstly , we love God and want to see disciples made for Jesus at every level of society . That priority directs how we have built the program , and how we make our daily decisions . We are growing radical , reflective , relevant disciples of Jesus . These disciples carry his presence with him to the workplace , and into their ministries and home life , recognising the , “ It is no longer I who live , but Christ who lives in me .” ( Galatians 2:20 ).
Why is this different ? Typically there is a choice – you either read academically at a university , or do a part time practical ministry course at a church . This creates a separation between what you learn intellectually , and what you live practically , as a Christian . Why be forced to make a choice ? At IBIOL you can fulfil a full-time academic program that requires you to exercise what you ’ ve learnt through regular ministry opportunities , in the heart of London .
In fact , we ’ re unique as the only Church-based , fully accredited , fully validated Bible College in the whole of the UK !
The timetable is set over three days per week – Sunday , Monday , Tuesday . Sunday , you are required to serve during one of our services , and then participate in outreach and community building .
