VISIÓN PROSPECTIVA A CORTO PLAZO SOBRE
INVESTIGACIÓN EN LA UPA [2018-2019]

RESUMEN
Este estudio, está referido al trabajo del Instituto de Investigación UPA, 2018-2019, desde una visión
prospectiva, es decir, creando escenarios futuribles y escogiendo el más adecuado.
Para ello, hemos tomado en cuenta 20 actividades a realizar en dicho período. Empleando la
prospectiva, porque parte del concepto que el futuro aún no existe, pero puede ser inventado.
Existen muchos futuros posibles, pero debemos escoger el mejor y de acuerdo al juicio de expertos
(método Delphi), hemos arribado a 20 actividades que deben llevarse a cabo, en dicho período.
El lector, podrá preguntar, como se llegó a determinar estas 20 actividades, y respondemos que
existen más de 150 metodologías que visualizan el futuro, pero solo hemos utilizado 3, que son las
siguientes:
a) La mitología o técnica Delphi.
b) Corporate Foresght.
c) Backcasting.
Con el tiempo, el Instituto de Investigación de la UPA, deberá contar con un observatorio, para
aprovechar las oportunidades que el futuro generará en bien de la sociedad.

ABSTRACT
This research study refers to the work of the UPA Research Institute, 2018-2019, from a prospective
perspective, that is, creating future scenarios and choosing the most appropriate one.
To do this, we have taken into account 20 coercion activities to be carried out in said period. And
we have used foresight, because part of the concept that the future does not yet exist, but can be
invented. There are many possible futures, but we must choose the best and according to expert
judgment (Delphi method) and we have arrived at 20 activities that must be carried out in that period.
The reader can ask how these 20 activities were determined and we respond that there are more
than 150 methodologies that visualize the future, but we have only used 3, which are the following:
a) Mythology or Delphi technique
b) Corporate Foresght
c) Backcasting
Over time, the Research Institute of the UPA, must have an Observatory, to take advantage of the
opportunities that the future generated for the good of society.
