ABSTRACT
The risk associated with handling of boilers is huge. The aim of this work
demonstrate the importance of technical assistance in nursing work in the "Safety
Training in Boiler Operation", so that operators have a better condition for the
development of their activities than those not receiving such training. Through this
review can be seen that the operator was only trained to perform mechanical
services, without knowing why each action and a profound lack of equipment and
safety supplies and the mode of each boiler. They had no notion of danger or even
equipment. According to safety standards in force in our country, this basic training
is necessary, but not always fulfilled by business owners.
