ABSTRACT
This study deals with the influence of stress on the worker in the furniture industry, the
expectations of the individual to look for a job and what companies offer to the
candidate, and the importance of specialized technical assistance to nursing work and
professional presence in this industry, also speaks of the work that brings to life the
individual, ie, beyond professional growth, social and family support, the contemporary
character of diseases that affect the physical, mental and psychological worker.
