Students from 6 years old did their first steps with Phonics this course. It was a nice
experience; little by little they could read from short words to long sentences.
The school put also a lot of emphasis in the development of the listening and speaking activities, we practice a lot how to describe things or pictures, ask and answer
questions, establish simple conversations… They were encouraged to improve their
communication skills in a natural way.
And during all the year, we introduce the English language in all the aspects of the
daily school life, not only in the proper subject. We did a play in English for the Meteorology Festival, called “The Little Cloud”.
