Even more striking, and more impressive considering their size, are Sabina’s enchanted forest shadow boxes. She builds three-dimensional woodland scenes of layered white paper cut-outs, in small vintage metal compartments. For this fine precision cutting, Sabina uses the same super-sharp surgical blades that she uses in her restoration work.
She must have very good eyesight, and an extremely steady hand.
