Food Security Food security exists when all people have access to the foods they need at all times. Our team works on ways for the community to overcome barriers to food access through programs, policies and community events. Watch our facebook page for up- coming events and programs. Our website hosts several food resources such as:  Free & Low Cost Food & Meals Directory  Directory of Community Kitchen Spaces  Creating an Edible Garden in Your Yard  Local Agriculture Learning Guide Plant-a-Row / Grow-a-Row As part of your garden, you can plant and grow an extra row of veggies to donate to the food bank. The Housing Outreach Worker can help you overcome barriers to suitable, affordable housing in a variety of ways including:  assistance applying for rental subsidy programs  referrals to other community resources  connecting to on-going supports The Housing Outreach Worker has drop-in hours Monday through Thursday from 1- 4pm at Community Connections located at 314 - 2nd Street E.
