Family Support Services
PACT (Parents and Community Together):
This drop-in group offers support to parents and caregivers of young children in an
informal, unstructured setting. There is opportunity for parents and caregivers to
have a cup of coffee while connecting with each other, for parents and children to
play in a safe and inviting space, and to have a nutritious snack. Monday and
Thursday 9:30am-12:00pm, 314-2nd St E.
Bellies and Babies:
B & B 1 is a drop-in group for expecting moms and families with babies birth to 12
months. Please join us for lunch and great conversation every Tuesday from
11:00am - 1:00pm.
B & B 2 is a drop-in group for expecting moms and families with babies birth to 24
months. Please join us for coffee and snacks every Wednesday from 10:00am –
12:00pm.
Infant Development Program (IDP):
This program is available to families with infants (birth to 3) who are at-risk of
developing a delay in their development or are born with a delay and/or disability.
This program can be home or office based.
Any parent who has questions about their infant’s development is welcome to

Supported Child Development Program (SCDP):
A program for families with children age 3 to 19 who have concerns about their
child’s development or have a child with a diagnosed special need or medical
condition. The concern can be for any domain of development such as behaviour,
problem-solving, social, emotional or movement.
The SCDP staff can also offer consultation and support to the staff of child care
centers, family child cares, preschools, and schools that are supporting a child or
children with special needs. This is a family-directed program which means that
caregivers will guide the nature of services delivered.
Autism Consultation:
SCDP staff is also able to offer consultation to families and children age 3
to 19 who have been diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
Consultation can be provided regarding services available in Revelstoke
and the surrounding area. Some of these services include: Behaviour
Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, and Speech and Language
Therapy. In addition, staff of the SCDP work closely with the local Child,
Youth & Special Needs social worker to best support families who are

navigating the provincial Autism Funding process.
