THE international event for
entrepreneurship, business opportunities
and intellectual property rights in Asia,
Franchising & Licensing Asia (FLAsia),
will hold its 13th edition this year. With
more than 8,000 visitors yearly, FLAsia
is highly anticipated by exhibitors and
visitors, according to the organiser.
In terms of exhibiting brands and
visitorship, FLAsia has grown to be “the
world’s most international franchising
and licensing event”. With the intention
to consistently congregate and present
international and domestic brands
to visitors from all over the world,
FLAsia aims to sustain the spirit of
entrepreneurship through franchising
and licensing, creating opportunities and
forging new partnerships.
Presenting a chance for
entrepreneurs and prospective
franchisees to meet face-to-face with
representatives of international brand
concepts across various industries,
FLAsia hosts international pavilions
from South Korea and Taiwan, as well
as over 200 brands from more than
30 countries and regions including
Australia, Europe, India, Indonesia,
Japan, Malaysia, the Philippines,

Franchising and licensing clinics
will be available to provide free advice,
assistance and connections to local

licensing, and IP strategies during the
free 30-minute one-to-one session.
The show is open to trade visitors,
and individuals seeking franchise
and investment opportunities. Free
admission is available through online
pre-registration or on-site registration.
Last year, 186 brands from 22
countries and regions (including
Australia, China, Japan, South
Korea, Taiwan, the UK and Russia)
participated in FLAsia. The event is
presented by Franchising and Licensing
Association (FLA) Singapore, and
organised by trade exhibition organiser
BizLink Exhibition Services, a
subsidiary of media company Singapore
Press Holdings (SPH).
FLAsia was first launched in
2006 by FLA Singapore which
leads the Singapore Pavilion every
year, presenting quality brands and
