The exhibition constitutes a product

The conference and workshops
feature expert speakers from diverse fields

academia and these thought leaders and
influencers will share their experience,
vision and foresight to inspire and
inform.

The Opening Cocktail, to be held
on September 30, sets the stage for the
week, for attendees to enjoy a drink with
friends and colleagues at the Carlton
Beach located in front of the Carlton
Hotel. The evening will, as usual,
conclude with a spectacular firework
display over the bay, courtesy of the City
of Cannes.
Open from October 1-4, The Scene
at Plage du Palais des Festivals serves as
a venue for visitors looking to unwind
after a busy day. Top DJs will be on hand
for those looking to hit the dancefloor,
while delegates can also enjoy a drink
and take in the sea view at the venue’s
Sixties-themed lounge.
Le Premium Evening at Port Canto
will bring the social programme to
a conclusion on the last day of the
event. The cast of the record-breaking
Broadway show The Illusionists will
dazzle guests with feats of mind-reading,
levitation and much more, while world-
renowned chef Romain Gandolphe will
conjure up his own culinary magic with
his unique trompe l’oeil cuisine.
There will also be the TFWA Golf
Tournament, a charity run, a regatta, two
open-air yoga sessions and a Pétanque
tournament.
Erik Juul-Mortensen, president of
TFWA, said: “Whether you’re looking
to hit the fairways, try your hand at
Pétanque or simply take the weight off
your feet and enjoy the amazing views
of Cannes; there really is something
for everyone with our line-up of social
and leisure events at the TFWA World
Exhibition & Conference. I’m very
excited by the entertainment we have
planned for guests at this year’s event,
and I look forward to meeting you all
there.”
Juul-Mortensen will deliver his final
state of the industry address as TFWA’s
head on the first day of the conference.
In June this year, he confirmed that he
will not put his name forward for re-
election when his current mandate ends
