Born and raised in Northeastern Pennsylvania, Kathy earned a B.S. in Education from Marywood
University and a M.A. in Education from The University of South Carolina. She relocated to Hilton Head
Island in 1988 and was an educator for the Beaufort County School System. Having partnered with her
husband in home development/renovation for 25 years, before moving into sales full time. Her in-depth
knowledge of the demographics, schools, and amenities in the Hilton Head/Bluffton communities is one
of her strongest assets when meeting the needs of her clients. Kathy and her husband Jeff live in Windmill
Harbour with their three children and are an avid boating family and very active in the community.

Carl grew up on a farm in the Princeton, New Jersey area and attended Denison University in Granville,
Ohio. After working for many years in the corporate arena of employee benefits and financial services,
Carl moved to HHI from Washington, D.C. and obtained his Realtors license. His prior experience in
marketing, financial services and customer service provides a solid base for working with clients who are
buying homes, villas and land. Carl is a true professional and works with his clients best interests in mind.

Fred Hogshead - Mainland Specialist | REALTOR®
Fred Hogshead is a 10 year Bluffton resident and South Carolina native. He has been married for 17
years to his wife Amanda, a teacher at Okatie Elementary school. They have two daughters, Aubrey and
Langley Ruth (LR). Fred and his wife grew up in Columbia and met while attending Winthrop University.
They have enjoyed living in Pinecrest for the past nine years but recently moved out to Chechessee Bluff,
close to Callawassie Island. In their free time they love to be on the river with family and friends. They
attend LowCountry Community Church where Fred is involved with the 6th grade youth group as well
as the cook team. Professionally, Fred has spent the past 20 years in some form of electrical sales, sales
management and general management roles.
