Administers the WIOA. Goodwill’s mission is “to
provide to people with barriers to employment –
particularly those with disabilities – an array of quality
vocational and education services so that they can
work independently.” Some of the quality vocational
and educational services that Goodwill offers are
provided through our Job Help Centers. These centers
offer FREE HELP to people in our community in
learning/upgrading computer skills, job preparation and
job search skills for today’s workplace. Resources
available in the Centers include: Job Postings; Job
Services; Computer Access; Internet Access;
Telephone Access; Fax & Copier Access. Goodwill’s
Job Help Centers’ skills training include: Basic
Computer Skills; Keyboarding Skills; Application
Writing Skills; Resume Design & Preparation; Cover

VEC staff at our Local Offices make available job
search assistance to individuals, and recruiting and
referral services to employers. Services available to
workers include job referral and placement, referral to
training, and job search skill building activities. VEC
staff can assist employers by screening and referring
applicants for job vacancies, providing critical labor
market information for business and economic
planning, and coordinating Employer Advisory
Committee activities across the state.

Monthly value packages cost just $21 and include $40$50 worth of basic and healthy groceries, typically
made up of 4-5 pounds of frozen protein products, 1-3
