Timothy Lindsay
Timothy Lindsay is a partner at Lowndes Jordan specialising in arbitration and litigation, and is recognised as one of the country’s leading arbitration experts. Tim has appeared as counsel is some of the most significant arbitrations in the past decade, many of which concerned shareholder and corporate disputes, and has led policy development in the field internationally. He is an experienced trial lawyer, with particular expertise in corporate/shareholder, complex contract, banking and financial services (creditor and debtor), foreign investment, energy/resources, telco/IP/technology and regulatory disputes. Tim also takes appointment as Arbitrator.

Jay Shaw
Jay Shaw is a partner at the accounting firm Grant Thornton and leads their valuation and forensic accounting service line nationally. Much of Jay’s work relates to providing expert witness and expert determination services, including business valuations, loss of profits, financial investigations and relationship property. He has over twenty years accounting experience both in NZ and in the UK across a range of industries, from entrepreneurial private businesses to large listed multinationals.
Jay currently serves as the Australasian representative on the Business Valuation Board of the International Valuation Standards Council (IVSC), the established global standards setter for the business valuation profession. He is a Chartered Accountant, and has a Bachelor of Management Studies in Accounting (1st class honours) from Waikato University. He is widely published and presents regularly on valuation issues.
