Fitness and Recreation
100 percent smoke-free environment: All resident rooms,
balconies and public spaces in the residence halls are smokefree including outside areas or locations that are near the air
supply of residential buildings.
Fitness Center West, Elm Hall: a student-staffed gym with
cardio and weight equipment, two studios with mirrored
walls, and a variety of fitness and wellness classes and workshops
Cable TV: Each residence hall room has HuskyTV, a satellite
master antenna television service operated by UW Communication Technologies. HuskyTV offers a variety of channels,
including HBO and HBO GO, and is included in the room rate.
2104 House has extended basic cable.
Exercise Room, McMahon Hall North Tower lobby level:
includes elliptical machines, treadmills and table tennis
Ethernet: All residence hall rooms have Ethernet access.
Ethernet is a high-speed connection that enables residents

Alder Commons, Alder Hall: Alder Commons features six
multipurpose spaces that are great for studying, hanging
out, clubs and organizations, conferences and classes. Alder
Commons features a 200-person theater where the Residential Community Student Association’s Programming Board
presents newly released movies, comedians, talent shows
and much more. Alder Commons is a great place to find a
diverse array of activities and events.
