Application Details How to Apply You need to agree to the application terms and agreement to apply. 1. SET UP YOUR UW NETID You will be asked your building and Living Learning Community preferences. The information you need for set up is included with your offer of admission. Your UW NetID should be set up at least five days before you apply for housing. You need to indicate any roommate request. You will be asked to pay a deposit: • A $500 deposit is required for on-campus housing 2. SET UP YOUR UW EMAIL ACCOUNT • Paying the deposit is the last step in submitting your application HFS will communicate with you via your UW email • Some students with financial need may submit the application without a deposit and pay it later 3. COMPLETE YOUR HFS STUDENT PROFILE • You can make changes to your application through June 30th. This step can be completed in advance. Your profile determines what housing you are eligible for. 4.
