uring his rebellious
teenage years, Josh was
kicked out of school and
got into a fight that led to
him getting 12 months in prison.
‘I had just turned 18. I was way
in over my head, looking around
thinking, “I don’t belong here – I
need to make a change.” They
say rock bottom ground is solid
ground to build on, so that’s what
I did.’
Josh started lifting in the gym and
transformed his mindset. When
he was released from prison,
Josh committed to pursuing a
career in the fitness industry and
started volunteering at a local
gym. Shortly after, he got an
apprenticeship and spent the next
six months working 50 hours a
week for £2.50 an hour.
When Josh was 19, he had a
daughter born two months
premature. Josh was already
struggling with money when his
boss told him he was transitioning
him to a full-time personal trainer.
‘I said that I had no clients and

he said: “well here are 20 phone
numbers. Call these people and
offer them a free trial and try to
sign them up to your services
after”.’ Josh converted ten of those
people into paying clients, and
over the next year, Josh attended
seminars and training courses to
get better results for his clients.
After getting a massive spike in
his business, Josh started working
split shifts and getting sick every
month. ‘I started looking at ways I
could turn this passion that I had,
which I was losing, into a business
so I could facilitate a better
lifestyle for myself. That’s when I
subscribed to NPE’s newsletter.’ In
December 2014, Josh joined NPE’s
VIP PROGRAM™, which taught him
the systems and tools needed to
develop a business plan, grow
a team, and achieve consistent
profitability and growth
Within a year, he saw incredible
changes. He now has grown to
four staff members, increased
revenue by over 400%, and
opened his own studio.
Before NPE, Josh’s average ticket

Barcelona. Josh doesn’t have to
worry about his business while
he’s away. On one of his trips,
his personal trainer closed two
packages for £3k.
Although Josh had a rocky start,
he was able to create a business
that helps people, provides for
his daughter, and gives him the
freedom to spend time doing the
things he loves.
‘I thought I was never going to
get anywhere in my life, but I
became accountable to my vision
and got my marketing on point.
Follow instructions, take action,
