Among the ways the Domestic and Foreign Missionary Society supports the work of Episcopal Relief & Development is through the cost-free contribution of office space in New York City and the contribution of 0.7% of the churchwide budget to Episcopal Relief & Development programming. EPISCOPAL SERVICE CORPS (ESC) The Episcopal Service Corps is a network of local programs that engage young adults in missionary service in communities in the United States. While not a part of the Domestic and Foreign Missionary Society or subject to DFMS governance, ESC is a longtime partner that we currently support through a $200,000 grant designated by the triennial budget. GOOD FRIDAY OFFERING The Missionary Society annually organizes the Good Friday Offering to support the ministries of the Province of Jerusalem and the Middle East in education, health care, and parish development. Bringing together congregations throughout The Episcopal Church, the Good Friday Offering has sent nearly $1 million to the Church in the Holy Land and surrounding areas during this triennium.
