Mar k of Mi ssi on 1 MISSION ENTERPRISE ZONES 16 24 A “Mission Enterprise Zone” is a geographic area, group of congregations, or entire diocese committed to mission and evangelism that engages groups under-represented in The Episcopal Church, including youth and young adults, people of color, poor and working-class people, people without a college degree, and/or people with little or no church background or involvement. We provide grants, training, and support for planting congregations and starting Mission Enterprise Zones. TRAINING AND SUPPORT FOR NEW MINISTRY In the past several months, the Missionary Society has hosted nearly 70 hours of online startup coaching and strategy sessions for close to 150 new-ministry leaders, all via videoconference.
