health care chaplains of The
Episcopal Church. In certifying
health care chaplains for the
Association of Professional
Chaplains and other accrediting
agencies, our office works on
behalf of diocesan bishops,
ensuring that the chaplains are
in good standing in the diocese,
have completed sexual
misconduct training and have
been commissioned by the
diocese or parish as a chaplain.)
CENTRAL GULF COAST
• Participation in the annual
United Nations Commission
of the Status of Women
• Pilot usage of churchwide asset
map developed in partnership
between Episcopal Relief &
Development, the Domestic and
Foreign Missionary Society, and
the Dioceses of Louisiana and
New York; additionally, the
Dioceses of Central Gulf Coast,
Chicago, Colorado, Eastern
Michigan, New Jersey, and
Northern California joined
Phase 2 in late 2014.
