A special shout out to six Chartwell retirement residences in
the Windsor-Essex area who came together to host the
3 rd annual Kingsville Charity Golf Tournament in August. An
outstanding $20,000 was raised for the charity! Participating
residences include: Chartwell Leamington, Chartwell St. Clair
Beach, Chartwell Kingsville, Chartwell Oak Park Terrace,
Chartwell Oak Park LaSalle, Chartwell Royal Marquis.
Chartwell Le Prescott in the Vaudreuil-Dorion region hosted
its 3 rd annual Dancing with the Seniors event in support of
Wish of a Lifetime Canada in November. Together with La
Millateck dance school, a dozen seniors participated in the
competition, dancing the afternoon away for a worthy cause.
They raised more than $3,700 for the charity.
Chartwell Le Wellesley’s Beauty is Ageless fashion show took
place in November, where residents strutted their stuff down
the catwalk to live music while decked out in beautiful Frank
Lyman designs. The glitzy event raised $13,000, which will
go toward making even more dreams come true.
