STORAGE, AS WELL AS
CREATE A “FARMHOUSE”
LOOK FOR THIS SPACE
THAT THEY AND THEIR NEW
GRANDCHILDREN COULD
ENJOY. BY REMOVING
NON-LOAD BEARING
PARTITION WALLS, THE
CONTRACTOR EXPANDED
THE KITCHEN INTO THE
LIVING AREA, WHICH BY
ITSELF MET THE CLIENT’S
NEED FOR AN OPEN PLAN.
Van Selow Design Build also provided
the client with lots of counter and storage
space by installing custom cabinetry and
3cm granite countertops by both the
kitchen window and the new island. The
final need of the client was met through the
incorporation of a farm sink, cage pendants,
farm style shelving, tumbled stone
backsplash, and earth-toned cabinetry,
countertops and flooring. The culmination
of these unique yet functional items gave
the finished project the farmhouse look so
desired by their client.
