NFL UK continues to thrive through attracting exciting new partners
JAGS UK FOUNDING PARTNER
US wealth management company, LGT Vestra
US have become the Jacksonville Jaguars’ UK
founding partner. Both LGT and The Jaguars
project similar transatlantic business
objectives. LGT Vestra admit to admiring The
Jaguars unwavering ambition through being
the first team to agree to play the NFL
London games for consecutive years. As well
as working on various business projects, the
two organisations will also work on
community outreach projects.
NFL v PREMIER LEAGUE STARS
Global sports media company, Whistle Sports
have ramped up the anticipation ahead of the
NFL UK 2017 series, starting in September.

NFL stars against English Premier League
stars in a number of skills challenges, in an
attempt to capture English fans attention and
perhaps delve into a new fanbase. The first
pairings include; Harry Kane v Landon
Colling; Sergio Aguero v JJ Watt and Paul
Pogba v Josh Norman.
HEINZ CUT THE MUSTARD
Heinz have given a taste of their activations
for their 2017 NFL partnership with the
release of their ‘Ultimate Playbook’ . The suite
of social and digital assets will give fans top
tips on how to squeeze maximum enjoyment
from their game day experience. Pre-match
snacks, matchday rituals and winning sauce
combinations are all included. Heinz are also
giving away some amazing NFL prizes through
their digital and social platforms.
TITLE PARTNER FOR NFL UK
Subway have recently penned a deal to become
the title partner for the NFL UK & Ireland
series for the next three years. The
announcement was recently revealed through
Subway’s social media channels.
NFL UK and Subway will team up to deliver
American Football taster sessions in schools,
with the aim of getting the nation fit and
healthy. The partnership was launched with a
mini festival, ‘The Summer Bowl’ in London.
NFL – BBC UK BROADCAST
The BBC have renewed their deal to broadcast
2 of the 4 live games being hosted in the UK
this year. Not only is this great news for us
fans, but it is also great news for the raft of
aforementioned sponsors signing deals with the
NFL UK. The agreement will also include the
rights to broadcast Superbowl LII live from
Minniapolis in February 2018. BBC will
continue with their weekly highlights show
covering all of the key action from the regular
season games.
IS NFL UK JUST FOR MEN?
Obviously not… however Just for Men have
signed up as an official partner of NFL UK,
Germany and France. Through this partnership,
Just for Men are aiming to increase product
consideration amongst their target audience. A
range of experiential and PR activities are
expected to be rolled out. Their social
campaign will attempt to ‘target any grey areas’
men have around NFL. This is also a very
clever link with their hair-care product range.
