IOC Intel partnership
This month saw McDonald’s break away
from their 41 long year partnership with
the IOC.
Intel have stepped up to replace them as
new TOP sponsors until 2024. As a
worldwide TOP partner, Intel aims to
provide the IOC with new levels of fan
interaction by providing cutting-edge
technology to the Olympic scene.
They will bring their wealth of
technologies to the table, with 5G, VR,
and 360 degree content to name but a
few, along with AI platforms and drones.
The first activations take place at the
Pyeongchang 2018 Winter Games, with
bigger and more interactive plans for
Tokyo 2020, Beijing 2022, and which
ever city wins the bid for 2024.
World Rugby renews with
MasterCard
MasterCard has renewed their worldwide
partnership with the Rugby World Cup in
Japan 2019. This is the third-successive
time the finance giant has partnered with
the tournament.
MasterCard will have a strong brand
presence at each of the 12 host stadiums
during the competition, which includes
20 teams.
MasterCard will serve as the preferred
card and digital wallet service for the
tournament. As part of this agreement
they will benefit from the Man of the
Match right, giving them greater brand
presence and also bringing the players
closer to the fans.
Murray & Joshua take to the
court to unveil Jaguar XF
Teaming up with comedians Rob Brydon
and Jimmy Carr for a quick game of
doubles, Anthony Joshua and Andy
Murray stepped onto a Wimbledon
themed court in Brik Lane to unveil the
latest Jaguar XF Sportbrake.
The car manufacturer, who also sponsor
Wimbledon itself, took the opportunity
to hit two birds with one stone so to
speak. The themed unveiling, featuring
some of the biggest athletes these two
world wide top athletes also served as a
reminder everyone of Wimbledon around
the corner, in which Andy Murray will
be competing.
Saints unveils
#madeforheroes campaign
With the next Premier League season on
the horizon, Southampton FC have
recently revealed their new Under
Armour kit for the 2017/18 season.
Reports reveal that the new kits took
inspiration from the 80’s season legends
Kevin Keegan and Mick Channon.
With that era in mind, the Saints have
created short style animations of the
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and The
Real Ghost Busters. To see the First
