1982 : Select Property Management was added to provide premier residential and commercial property management services . Tahoe Sierra Rental Company was established in 2008 to manage vacation rental properties in the Lake Tahoe region .
Late 1980 ’ s : Select School of Real Estate was formed to aid in recruiting and training new prospective agents and was later renamed Select Success .
1995 : Stanford Mortgage was acquired to bring quality mortgage services to our real estate clients . Stanford Mortgage is staffed with experienced , top-notch , service orientated Mortgage Advisors , Processors and Administrative Staff .
2001 : Inter-County Title of El Dorado County was added to the team providing superior title and escrow services to the general public and the entire real estate community . Inter-County Title is one of the oldest title companies in the state of California , serving El Dorado County since 1891 .
2006 : ERA Cornerstone Realty Group in Nevada City and Grass Valley merged into The Select Group , extending our services further into the Gold Country .
2008 : The Select Group began adding offices at Lake Tahoe and in Nevada under the Coldwell Banker banner . In four short years Coldwell Banker Select became the largest real estate company in Northern Nevada .
2012 : Stanford Mortgage established its first Northern Nevada branch , broadening its superior customer service and product spectrum to new communities and clientele .
2015 : Century 21 Cornerstone was formed by combining ERA Cornerstone Realty Group , Century 21 Gold Dust , and Century 21 Foothill Realty . Together the combined offices are one of the largest real estate companies in Nevada County .
2018 : Century 21 Jeffries Lydon in Chico merged its name with the Select brand , joining its 22 Century 21 Select sister offices . The changeover , a result from the Century 21 franchise logo change , served as a sign of unity for the Select family while still providing award-winning service to the Chico community .
Coldwell Banker Select Property Management merged with Carson Properties and became Coldwell Banker Select Real Estate Residential & Commercial Management . Together their commercial management portfolio increased to more than 1,000,000 square feet of office , retail and light industrial space , coupled with an extensive single-family and multifamily residential portfolio .
2019 : Century 21 Placerville acquired the former Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage building and its agents , many who have been working at the location for over 25 years .
2020 : Olympia Mortgage and Investment Company , a private money lender , joined the ever-growing Select family bringing a sizeable business / commercial portfolio to Select and creating high return real estate lending opportunities for clients .
Century 21 Select acquired 3 Sacramento area offices from Century 21 M & M , unifying all the Century 21 offices in the Sacramento region under the Select banner .
Century 21 Davis Realty in Grass Valley merged with Century 21 Cornerstone , creating the # 1 Real Estate company in Nevada County .
Century 21 At Tahoe Paradise in South Lake Tahoe ( Meyers Station ) merged with Coldwell Banker Select , extending our reach around Lake Tahoe .
2021 : Empire Properties in Orland merged with Century 21 Select , expanding our physical presence into Glenn County .
A new Century 21 Select Real Estate office opened in Oroville , further strengthening the Select brand in Northern California .
July 1st , Coldwell Banker McKinney merged with Coldwell Banker Select , consolidating the Coldwell Banker brand in South Lake Tahoe .
2022 : Century 21 MM joined with Century 21 Select to create the leading Real Estate company in Central and Northern California .
TODAY : The Select Group has more than 1,200 agents and employees who make it their daily mission to provide the best service possible to clients throughout Northern California , Lake Tahoe and Northern Nevada .
