Growing up in Nhlazatshe where at the time i believe we were not fashion forward, what role did the environment play into you being the business woman you are today?

I have always wanted more for myself because I have a lot family members to take care of off hence I have two jobs Eskom and Style Expression.

Branding is one big part of the fashion industry, how do you make sure that your brand is unique and marketable?

So far I have been using all social media platforms to market my brand the uniqueness of my brand lies in my taste... I can't explain I can only express it hence the name "Style Expression".

Who would you say is your target market?

Upmarket, upcoming professionals,

Expressive and stylish, style leaders.

How do you juggle between your Eskom full time job and Style Expression?

Time management and is key to juggling the two as well as having a good team and support from family.

How do you deal with bad criticism?

I have thick skin and a lot constructive criticism from people who love and care about me so I don't worry about the rest.

What would you say is the most challenging thing about your business and how do you avoid running into conflict with your

competitors?

My business is very young I'm still figuring a lot of things out and my biggest challenge Is getting the name out there... Social media is great and works to an extend but one has to be more creative than that. I stay in my lane In terms of what I offer my clients so I haven't had much conflict with competitors besides I think they underestimate me which is fine because it will give me room to do my thing.

What is the biggest vision of Style Expression, where do you see it in the years to come?

Honestly right now I'm just doing my best to survive this first year.....talk to me after a year.

What advise do you have for the young ones who wanna venture in the fashion industry as well.?

Be prepared to work harder than uv ever worked in your life before or else you won't make it.
