Do you employ systems and if so , what type of systems do you have in place ?

Yes , we believe firmly in systems and everything in our office is systemized all the way down to the telephone scripts , order taking , buying houses , selling houses and customer support with our students and buyers .

Do you manage your own properties ?

No we have assembled an in house team for property management which oversees the maintenance , repairs and management of all rental properties .

What makes you a successful real estate investor and why do you think others struggle to be successful ?

I think the biggest challenge commitment is and overcoming selflimiting beliefs . Most people are simply not going to put the time and effort in that is necessary to be successful . And the reason is because of selflimiting beliefs . If you don ’ t really believe that you can change your net worth by investing in real estate then you are not going to take the time or effort to learn how to do so .
If you really did believe it then you would do everything in your power to make yourself a success . Another big challenge for many new investors is technology . And of course that is not something we can teach people . Technology has become a key component since looking for properties , making offers , accepting offers and even marketing properties can now all be done online without even picking up the phone . All you really need is a computer and a good internet connection .

What do you do when you ’ re not investing in real estate and how do you fit it into your schedule ?

When I am not working I am usually out on my boat . My philosophy is work hard , play hard . So I work a lot from Monday to Friday . Most days start at around 4:30 or 5:00 A . M and don ’ t end until 7 P . M . Every week at around 12 noon on a Friday I head out to my boat and go into “ recharge ” mode . I literally do not think about work again until Monday morning . It is very important to recharge your batteries . Some people meditate , do yoga or exercise to recharge . For me , I like going out on the water on my boat driving up the intracoastal waterway for a dock and dine . I also like to go fishing , scuba diving , or just relax and barbecuing on the boat at one of the inlets with my friends or with my boys and their friends .
