This glass box extension was created on the ground floor of the property with a basement level below, as the garden stepped down to provide access to the basement the extension was given a balcony-style aesthetic. Due to this level change, frameless glass balustrade were installed adjoining the internal side of the minimal windows sliding doors, which provided  a safety barrier when the sliding doors were open - as they were frameless, the views into the garden were not compromised.
