A new study has today revealed that natural light is the key to homeowner happiness, with 70 per cent of Brits claiming it improves their mood and wellbeing all year round. The survey of over 2,000* homeowners by aluminium glazing specialists Express Bi-folding Doors was conducted to find out the importance of natural light to potential homebuyers and homeowners across the UK. It reveals that 84 per cent value natural light greatly when buying their dream property, with homeowners in Edinburgh (91%) seeing it as being the most vital, closely followed by Liverpool and Bristol (both 89%). But what price would homebuyers pay to have the luxury of a home with good natural light? On average, Brits would pay £4,786 on top of their budget, with seven per cent willing to fork out an extra £15,000 - £20,000 above the asking price. www.refurbandrestore.co.uk - 59
