SCENES FROM COMMENCEMENT 2016 !
Siena Heights University hosted three separate Commencement ceremonies in May on the Adrian campus . These were the official celebrations for students on the Adrian campus and for students in SHU ’ s Southfield , Dearborn , Benton Harbor , Battle Creek , Jackson , Lansing , Metro Detroit , Monroe and Online Learning programs . Siena Heights also conferred honorary degrees to three noteworthy individuals this year . Sister Mary Ellen Leciejewski , OP , MA , received a Doctor of Humane Letters degree for her work as the Director of Ecology at Dominican Santa Cruz Hospital ( Calif .), part of Dignity Health . Former Adrian Symphony Orchestra director John Thomas Dodson and nationally recognized child abuse awareness advocate Gregg Milligan ’ 85 also received Doctor of Humane Letters degrees .
