From the Heights 7 The third annual Siena Serves Day took place August 23 during Welcome Weekend, with students and staff volunteering together at locations throughout the Adrian area. Service activities ranged Damon Sloan, director of residence life, works in the backyard of a Habitat for Humanity house. from office work to yard work, and almost everything in between. Coordinated by the Campus Ministry Team at from Michigan To Montego Bay Siena Heights, the service project gets first year students involved in the community as soon as they arrive on campus. The volunteers assist agencies as diverse as the Catherine Cobb Domestic Violence Christi Meredith, a freshman at Siena Heights, cuddles a cat at the Lenawee Humane Society. Shelter, the Humane Society, the East Side Community Coalition, and the Lenawee Intermediate School District, among many others.
