Beurer ‘80 Petrina Biondo ‘72 Gloria Davila Calhoun ‘64 Scott Dienes ‘90 Elizabeth Dolan, OP ‘46 Kathy Engardio ‘83/MA Mary Hellner ‘88 Randolph Johnson ‘98 (KCC) Mary Phillips ‘71 Lawrence Richardson, Jr. ‘76 Daniel Robinson ‘99 (KCC) Susan Strupulis ‘95 (KCC) Lynne Redman Hill Director of Alumni Relations Sarah Baker Korth ‘83, ‘97/MA Assistant Director of Alumni Relations Ann-Marie Snyder ‘86 Alumni Office Secretary Two Day Retreat Gives Focus to the Board t a two day retreat in August, hosted by Board President Debra Parish Spann ‘89 at Cranbrook Schools in Bloomfield Hills, the Siena Heights Alumni Association Board of Directors agreed to focus on the following areas in 2000-2001: • Communications: Work closely with the Advancement Office to keep all alumni (both Adrian campus and center graduates) informed through Reflections, the web, and special events. • Fundraising: Work closely with the Advancement Office to encourage alumni support for SHU, especially in connection with the capital campaign. • Technology: Work with the University to address alumni needs and interests, especially related to the SHU website. • Alumni Service: Explore the contributions alumni now make, or could make in the future, in support of various University departments and degree sites. • Alumni Involvement: Work with the University to develop a strong and active alumni base, engaging graduates of all Siena Heights degree sites. • Alumni Board Operations: Invigorate the Board through an active well organized committee structure distinguished by strong leadership and participation. The Board met in Adrian on Saturday, November 4. The next two meetings of the Alumni Board are set for February 3 and May 5, 2001. Alumni Association Constitution Update evisions to the Constitution of the Siena Heights University Alumni Association were approved at the Association annual meeting, held Saturday, September 30 during Alumni Weekend. In a subsequent review, the Advancement Committee of the Board of Trustees also approved the revision with one suggested change, which was passed by the Alumni Board at its November 4 meeting.
