Involvement in the
World Around Us
ong time readers of Reflections may remember that the name of this publication honors the Adrian Dominican charism of contemplation enriched by
involvement. The Dominicans believe that study and prayer (contemplation)
should be accompanied by sharing the fruits of those efforts (reflections) through our
involvement in the world around us. The involvement of so many Siena Heights
people in causes greater than themselves is an embodiment of that Dominican spirit.
