7 every individual, welcoming persons of all faiths, and championing justice and service, as well as providing courses about the Catholic faith and celebrating the sacramental life of the church. A second group, headed by Dom Scibilia of the religious studies department, has focused on the future of the church-related college as part of a nationwide inquiry funded by the Lilly Endowment and coordinated by Rhodes College. The seven faculty involved produced thoughtful essays exploring ways to integrate Catholic and Dominican influences into college life. The essays have been gathered into a publication called “Contemplation and Sharing the Fruits of Our Contemplation,” reflecting a motto of the Adrian Dominican Sisters. In her essay on “The Catholic and Dominican Dimension ́
