Tonight, I have a group that wants to find awesome animal opportunities to take photos of" says Gricoskie. Tour groups can select the type of outing they want - there's no format. They can choose to go look for animals, the sunset, mountains - whatever they're interested in.

"Everyone owns a camera. A lot of people have SLR cameras and paid a lot of money for them but had no training in how to use it. They were told it takes great pictures but not how to take great pictures. So, we talk about F-stops and settings. But, then we talk about composition and how to take great pictures for the rest of their life. "

By age 15, Jared was a hardcore fly fisherman and knew, even though he was a shy person, he wanted to expose others to nature. His vocabulary and effortless stringing together of complicated scientific explanations made me wonder if he shouldn't be spending his time looking for a cure for cancer instead of taking pictures.

My Dad who had joined us actually summed it up in one whispered sentence during our tour: "Is it just me or is this the smartest guy you've ever met?"
