CLUB RED SPOTLIGHT
We’re very excited to be featuring Nancy as our Club Red
Spotlight in this issue. Nancy and her husband, Dan, have
been coming to Nisqually Red Wind Casino since it was
a bingo hall back in 1997. Nancy has certainly found her
fortune here, considering she’s won four jackpots this year
totaling more than $53,000!
Nancy and Dan have been married for 47 years. Nancy
says, “We met and married in Connecticut in 1968 after
Dan graduated from the Coast Guard Academy. We
were stationed in San Francisco and Los Angeles (which
included a tour in Vietnam) before moving to Washington
to raise our children in this beautiful state.” Nancy and
Dan have three outstanding sons, David, Mike and Kevin,
and their “favorite” (said with a wink), a grandson, Nathan.
Nancy and Dan are both retired, since 2009 and 2008
respectively. Nancy says “We really enjoy our retirement;
we love traveling, gardening and we are longtime Mariners
and Seahawks fans!” Nancy adds, “We enjoy coming to
Nisqually Red Wind Casino to have dinner at the SqualliAbsch Grille at least once a week. We love seeing our
favorite server, Staci. She spoils us.”
Nancy is quick to add her amazement of her recent
wins, but believes her whole life has been blessed with
her loving extended family. Nancy states that her mom,
Mary, and her father-in-law, Don, both enjoyed playing
the slot machines here at Red Wind despite their ages
of 90+. They both passed away early this year, and Nancy
attributes some of her luck to divine intervention from her
two guardian angels. It is an honor to have Nancy and Dan
as our guests and it’s always a pleasure seeing them at
Nisqually Red Wind Casino.
