How old were you when you first watched a horror movie and which one
was it?
My first "adult" horror movie was the original Carrie when I was twelve. It was my
first taste of Stephen King and of real horror and I fell in love with the genre im-
mediately, especially when I thought about the emotions behind Carrie White's
actions.
What is your favourite Urban Legend?
The phantom hitchhiker. Every town has their own version, and Chicago's (where
I grew up) was called Resurrection Mary, who asks lone men to pick her up and
take her to a dance hall, but disappears when they get there.
When I was in third grade, I wrote a Halloween-themed story about her, but in the
end she murdered the man who drove her to the hall.
What is your favourite spooky book?
Salem's Lot by Stephen King, hands down.

the person yelling at the characters
If you could have a Halloween-themed pet, which would you choose and
what would you name him/her?
I want a black cat to name Luna, a bat to name Elvira, and a snake to name Se-
verus. :)
