ACR:  In conclusion, what would you say is essential in forming good relationships as it pertain to wisdom for everyday living? DA: I would say that good relationships require work, every day. It does not happen overnight but the continuing commitment and effort is worth it. Many a times, you may feel that it is not going anywhere, but then one day, you would find that huge progress has been made. Once you make a commitment to honor and respect each other, then love will surely follow and develop. As a British reporter once asked Mahatma Gandhi about Indian marriages, he said that in India, we do not love to marry, we marry to love. Frankly, this philosophy should apply worldwide. We must make a continuing commitment, renew the commitment each day, and strive to be true to each other, no matter what.
