Renew : Out With the Old In With the New
Romans 12:2 And be not confirmed of this world : but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind , that ye may prove what is good , and acceptable , and perfect , will of God .

Bye Bye 2016 ! Hello 2017 ! I welcome 2017 with open arms . Do you want to do the same ? Although I did not achieve all my goals for 2016 , I did achieve some of my goals and a whole lot of knowledge to prepare me for 2017 ! Let us take all that we have learned in 2016 and rework our plans because we know doing the same old thing gets the same old results .
With all of the mess that is going on in the world , we just remember that God is still in charge . We need to stay focused on what God will have us to do and not get caught up in the spirit of fear that is running rampant , overwhelming and causing so much stress .
When we change our minds , we change our behavior . Below I have listed a few things to keep in mind for a successful 2017 .
1 . Put God first- Start each day out spending time in prayer as well as reading the best book of all times . The Bible .
2 . Family and Friends- Love family . If you have a few people that you can call friend you are blessed .
3 . Love yourself- Selflove is important . Be good to yourself
4 . Treat others nice- Treat everyone right . Not just a select few .
5 . Organize- At the end of the day , straighten your desk , notes , etc .
6 . Lists- Make a list of accomplishments you want to make during the week . Although you may have to rearrange some things this will help you reach goals .
7 . Trust- Believe what people show you and not what they tell you . Exercise your ability to discern .
8 . Relax- Take the time to relax and enjoy life
Let us liftup our heads , pull our shoulders back , smile and embrace 2017 with open
arms ! May the peace of God be with you until we meet again !
