Bishop William T. Cahoon MOF: We at Men of Faith are honored to have you come through Men of Faith. How are things going for you these days? Bishop Cahoon: Better than good. The Lord is helping us. “Lo, I am with you always. Even until the end of the world.” In spite of everything, and I mean everything, God is better than good; for that cause, I love Him. MOF: From reading your bio, you have accomplished quite a bit and been a part of so much with the church in your life thus far. If you had to pick an accomplishment that stands out the most which would you pick and why? Bishop Cahoon: My family, as to how God has kept them and saved them. I pray that my grandchildren will continue in the direction they’re going. And the ones that aren’t, I pray for them to get saved. For without Him, you can do nothing. And without Him, you might have success, but it will not be GOOD success, according to Joshua 1:8. In our daily devotions, we all should pray that all of our children will have GOOD success in life. MOF: You have been through the years, and continue to be, a busy man of God. How do you make the time to do what you do, and at the same time be a family man, or have time for yourself? Bishop Cahoon: Well, I take time, and I make time. I organize my time. Whenever it comes before us, we MAKE time for it when it involves our family, because our families come first. MOF: Being that you touch so many lives and so many people look to you for spiritual guidance…what do you feel is your main purpose in life? Bishop Cahoon: To fulfill the mission that God has assigned to my hand—that is dealing with people and getting people saved. I’m in God’s business because God’s business is people business, and people business is God’s business. And, if we’re not in God’s business, we’re out of business.
